Around the Horn: Extra Innings for September 20

Wednesday we had four Stocks to Watch, two Extra Innings and three Around the Horn subscription trades on our radar. One trade hit for profits, one for a loss, one for a scratch and six were no-shows.

Ashland Inc (ASH) was a Fastball long for Wednesday’s Around the Horn subscription service trade list. ASH started the morning right, climbing quickly to our entry, but then went almost immediately to our stop.

Lincoln National Corp (LNC) was a Fastball long for Wednesday’s Stocks to Watch list. Entry was in the morning off the open, with an exit on the breakdown of this breakout.

Extra Innings and Opportunities for Thursday, September 20, 2007:

Dick’s Sporting Goods (DKS) was a Sinker setup for Wednesday’s Stocks to Watch list. DKS didn’t trigger today but also couldn’t hold on to new highs. We’ll be looking for weakness again tomorrow.
