Tuesday we had three Stocks to Watch, two Extra Innings and five Around the Horn subscription trades on our radar. Of these, one hit for profits, one hit for a loss and the rest were no-shows.

Energizer Holdings Inc (ENR) was a Fastball long for Tuesday’s Stocks to Watch list. At over $100/share on this list we like to locate a reasonable stop level prior to entry, so we weren’t interested in the choppy open. Later in the morning there was an opportunity when ENR seemed to consolidate on support. Exit was on the pullback from this level. A second entry (or if using a breakeven stop) held more profit opportunities, with an afternoon run-up and exit close to end of day on a drop off highs.

Overseas Shipholding Group Inc (OSG) was a Fastball long for Tuesday morning. Entry was off the open, but ended at the stop loss.
