Tuesday we had four Stocks to Watch, one Extra Inning and two Around the Horn subscription trades on our radar. Of these, two hit for profits, two hit for scratch stops, and the rest were no-shows.

Carnival Corp (CCL) was a Fastball short for Tuesday’s Around the Horn subscription trade list. Entry was shortly off the open and CCL traded down to our initial profit target. Exit was at this level for all or partial shares. If partial shares remained, exit was end of day.

RenaissanceRe Holdings (RNR) was a Fastball short for Tuesday’s Around the Horn subscription trade list. This ended up in a scratch trade at breakeven, but thought I would include a chart tonight to show what this kind of a trade looks like. RNR hit our entry shortly after the open and traded in a wide range for the next half-hour before making another move lower, through our 50% to target level. At this level, we move our stop-loss to breakeven (which is from the stated entry price, not your individual fill price) give or take a nickel. In RNR’s case today, we scratch out of this trade.

Boston Properties Inc (BXP) was a Fastball short for Tuesday’s Stocks to Watch trade list. Several entry opportunities existed, and with a stock at this price, I am only pointing out on the chart a couple of ideas for intraday fast money.
