Unit Corp (UNT) was a Fastball short for Thursday’s Around the Horn subscription trade list. Entry was off the open and UNT traded down just shy of the 50% to target level, putting in the low of the day. UNT kept us in all day to no end. Exit was end of day on a pop up toward the stop level.

Extra Innings and Opportunities for Friday, October 19, 2007:

Applera Corp-applied Biosys (ABI) was a Sinker short for Thursday’s Around the Horn subscription list that blew out within the first few ticks of trading. It landed on support, which was the initial target level for today (all that we expected to see). But we’ll be watching for further weakness down to recent lows.
