Friday we had three Stocks to Watch, one Extra Inning, and one Around the Horn subscription trade on our radar. Of these, two hit for profits, one had mild losses and two were no-shows.

Yum Brand Inc (YUM) was a Sinker short for Friday’s Around the Horn subscription trade list. Entry was shortly after the open off the test of Thursday’s highs and lingered in a wide consolidation for the rest of the day. Exit was end of day.

Arch Coal Inc (ACI) was a Line Drive long for Friday’s Stocks to Watch trade list. Entry was mid-day on a pullback from morning volume. ACI traded up fairly regularly for most of the day, with an exit late in the day on a bounce off of new high and cross the 8-period moving average.

Cec Entertainment (CEC) was a long Extra Inning setup for Friday from this Nightly Wrap column. Entry was in the morning, but doubtfully off of the opening bar since the volatility whipped it up and back quickly. Another opportunity existed a little later on a bounce up off of lows, with an exit off the fall from highs and through the 8-period moving average.
