Tuesday, November 20, we had two Stocks to Watch and two Around the Horn subscription trades on our radar. Of these, one was profitable, one was a scratch and three were no-shows.

Gannett Co Inc (GCI) was a Fastball short for Tuesday’s Around the Horn subscription trade list. First entry was in the morning, but only tagged our price, traveling no more than ten cents in our direction before traveling 10 cents against us, so the trade was scratched. Second entry was in the afternoon. This entry was a little less than convincing, but after an hour of congestion, GCI began trading lower. GCI traded within 2 pennies of our profit target. When a stock comes within a dime of our profit target, we ratchet our profit stop to the 50% level. Exit was at this level.
