Tuesday, December 18, we had three Stocks to Watch, one Extra Inning and four Around the Horn subscription trades on our radar. Of these, two were profitable, one was a loss and five were no-shows.

Rohm & Haas Co (ROH) was a Switch Hitter long for Tuesday’s Around the Horn subscription trade list. ROH took us on a long ride that dropped us off at the stop loss.

Embarq Corp (EQ) was a Fastball short for Tuesday’s Stocks to Watch trade list. Adrian stated in his Stocks to Watch column we’d be watching for pullback entries and EQ did just that. Entry was at the 48.25 level with a steady decline all day. Exit was on the reverse of these lows.

MGM Mirage Inc (MGM) was a Fastball short for Tuesday’s Stocks to Watch trade list. Entry was in the morning and MGM traded down sharply for another hour before reversing. Exit was on this reversal and cross of the 8-period moving average.
