Monday, February 25, we had four Stocks to Watch, two Extra Innings and two Around the Horn subscription trades on our radar. Of these, six were profitable and two were no shows.

Bill Barrett Corp (BBG) was 3-2 Pitch long for Monday’s Around the Horn subscription trade list. BBG hit the entry shortly off the open only to pull back sharply, but not quite to our stop loss before continuing up to and well past the profit target. Exit was at the profit target.

Helmerich & Payne Inc (HP) was Switch Hitter long for Monday’s Around the Horn subscription trade list. HP also hit the entry shortly off the open but HP did not look back. Exit was above the profit target as HP barely had time to breath at the initial profit target before heading higher. Exit was on the breakdown from a consolidation and cross of the 8 period moving average.

Devon Energy Corp (DVN) was Switch Hitter long for Monday’s Stocks to Watch trade list. Entry was off the open and DVN languished in this area, for the first half hour or so before moving sharply to the upside. One exit level was on the deceleration of upside momentum and pullback and cross of the 8 period moving average.

Ensco International Inc (ESV) was 3-2 Pitch long for Monday’s Stocks to Watch trade list. Entry was off the open and began moving to the upside shortly thereafter. Exit was on the pullback from this upside move and cross of the 8 period moving average.

Extra Innings and Opportunities for Tuesday, February 26, 2008:
