Around the Horn: Extra Innings for March 4

Monday, March 3, we had four Stocks to Watch, two Extra Innings and four Around the Horn subscription trades on our radar. Of these, three were profitable, two were scratch trades, one was a loss and the rest were no shows.

FTI Consulting Corp (FCN) was a Sinker short for Monday’s Around the Horn subscription trade list. FCN opened, tested Friday’s highs, then traded lower to hit our entry. It was a fast ride down to the initial profit target, with an exit at this level.

Laboratory Cp Am Hldings (LH) was a Fastball short for Monday’s Around the Horn subscription trade list. First entry on LH was a scratch, but second entry was the charm, though a slow ride to exit one hour before end of day.

Carnival Corp (CCL) was Fastball short for Monday’s Around the Horn subscription trade list. CCL opened, hit our entry and traded down just past our 10 cent level that signals the trade is on before trading up to the stop level, with exit at this level. A second entry triggered toward end of day, but this time our tagged-in 10 cent level stopped us out with only a 10 cent loss.

Bb&T Corp (BBT) was a Fastball short for Monday’s Stocks to Watch trade list. Suggested entry level was hit just off the open and traded quickly lower before finding a support level. Exit was on the break up from this level.
