Around the Horn: Extra Innings for March 6

Wednesday, March 5, we had two Stocks to Watch, one Extra Innings and two Around the Horn subscription trades on our radar. Of these, one was modestly profitable, one gapped, one was a double loss, one was a scratch trade and one was a no show.

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc (HOT) was Fastball long for Wednesday’s Around the Horn subscription trade list. HOT opened and traded widely on volatility, triggering our entry and almost as quickly triggering our stop loss. Second entry was not long after, but also did not break higher. HOT lingered in this wide trading range until early afternoon, when it triggered our stop exit on its way to lows.

William Wrigley Jr Co (WWY) was an Extra Inning long for Wednesday’s trade list. Entry was on a break up from the opening pullback, with modest profits made on an exit just after noon on lower highs.
