Around the Horn: Extra Innings for March 17
Friday, March 14, we had one Stocks to Watch and four Around the Horn subscription trades on our radar. Of these two were profitable, one of these with two profitable entries, one was a scratch and one was a no-show.
Walter Industries (WLT) was a Sinker short for Friday’s Around the Horn subscription trade list. WLT hit our entry off the open and traded swiftly down to our profit target and well beyond. Exit was at the bobble at the profit target, but some traders leave a portion of their shares open and this time they were rewarded. A second entry opportunity occurred late morning on the West Coast, resulting in another beautiful drop to the profit target and beyond. This time there was no bobble at the profit target and exit was on a later hesitation around 59.20 or below.

Cardinal Health Inc (CAH) was a Fastball short for Friday’s Around the Horn subscription trade list. CAH hit our entry just before midday and traded in a lazy manner, with an exit end of day for a profit just past our 50% to Initial Profit Target level.
