Wednesday, April 16, we had three Stocks to Watch, two Extra Innings and three Around the Horn subscription trades on our radar. Of these, three were profitable, one was a scratch and the rest were no-shows.

Whiting Pete Corp (WLL) was a Sinker short for Wednesday’s Around the Horn subscription trade list. WLL gapped open and immediately began to drop through our entry price. Exit was within the next 15 minutes at the stated initial profit target.

Oceaneering Intl Inc (OII) was a Fastball long for Wednesday’s Stocks to Watch trade list. OII gapped open and spent the first half of the session trying to move higher. Midday there was a fast decline below the day’s lows and yesterday’s closing consolidation. An entry then presented itself on the pullback from this move to the long side and was good until end of day.

Las Vegas Sands Corp (LVS) was a Fastball short for Wednesday’s Stocks to Watch trade list. LVS gapped open and immediately began to drop through yesterday’s lows and our entry price. Exit was within the next 15 minutes on the reversal.
