Thursday, April 17, we had three Stocks to Watch, one Extra Inning and two Around the Horn subscription trades on our radar. Of these, one was profitable, one was a scratch and four were no-shows.

Noble Energy Inc (NBL) was a Sinker short for Thursday’s Around the Horn subscription trade list. NBL opened and continued higher, meeting our qualification for this setup of testing the prior day’s high. NBL hit our entry level on the way back down and traded down over the next hour to our initial profit target, with an exit here for all or partial shares and exit of any remaining shares anywhere off pullback from lows.
