Thursday, September 4, we had two Around the Horn subscription trades, one Extra Inning and two Stocks to Watch on our radar. Of these, three were winners and the rest were no-shows.

Textron Inc (TXT) was a Switch Hitter short for Thursday’s Around the Horn subscription trade list. TXT hit our entry off the open, trading quickly down to our profit target and beyond. Exit was at this level. Any partial shares remaining were well rewarded, trading lower until late in the session.

Arrow Electronics Inc (ARW) was a Fastball short for Thursday’s Stocks to Watch trade list. ARW hit our entry later in the day as part of a breakdown from higher levels. This opportunity was a profitable down to the round number before bouncing back to the entry level. I’ll be watching this again for tomorrow.

Companhia Brasileira (CBD) was a Fastball short for Thursday’s Stocks to Watch trade list. CBD hit our entry in the morning and this opportunity was also a profitable one if you caught the ride down.

Affiliated Computer Services (ACS) was an Extra Inning short from last night’s Extra Innings article. There were profitable opportunities either from points below yesterday’s low and/or below the green pivot.

Marvel Entertainment Inc (MVL) was mentioned as having a downside in this weekend’s outlook as one to watch to the short side, and today was another good day to do more than watch.
