The Odds Czar: Index Futures Biases for September 19

Friday's action not only surprised us (not to mention hurt us financially), but it also completely flipped our signal world around 180 degrees.  Suddenly the daily index bias indicators are flashing strong numbers atop of day-of-week long signals.  (A bullish Friday tends to continue into Monday.)  On top of that, we have cup formations in all three indexes.  The only negative is that this is occurring at the time of the month that is normally negative.

Well, actually, there is one additional anecdotal market drag.  My father, who follows my activities to the point of distraction, is relieved that I'm now in buy mode.  It's in line with Bob Brinker, plus other of his vested interests.  But whenever he's relieved for me, I'm worried.

Voodoo concerns aside, if we're to be straight system followers, for now, hard as it is, we must reverse engines.

Dynamic Monthly Biases for September 19

Flip all three indexes from short to long.

The bottom two rows determine the signal.  Dynamic Day One trumps everythingâ€"you always follow it.  When it's neutral, the Monthly Perpetual provides the direction.  Click here for a more in-depth explanation of the rules.

Daily CzarChart for September 19

The bottom row provides the direction of the bias at the open: long (L) or short (S).  When it's neutral, it will read zero (0).  Click here for a more in-depth explanation of the rules.
