Around The Horn: Extra Innings For November 5
Tuesday, November 4, 2008 we had two Around the Horn subscription trades, five Stocks to Watch and three Extra Innings on our watch list. Two of these had profit opportunities, with most having been blown out by election day optimism and a couple scratching us out.
Charles River Labs International Inc, (CRL) was an Extra Inning short for Tuesday’s trade list. There were a couple of entry opportunities; one on the reversal from highs early in the day and another on the cross of the Central Pivot, with a goal of the S1 pivot. Exit was either at this level, or on the reversal back to this level.

Fedex Corp (FDX) was our only long on the watch list for today and if you had your Wheaties early and were ready to pounce there were profits to be had here. Entry off the open was optimal, with an exit on reversal of the long opening bar, or back at the R2 pivot. A wider stop had the trade alive with an exit at the breakdown of consolidation at highs.

Extra Innings and Opportunities for Wednesday, November 5, 2008: We will be watching the opening for reaction to the election, but will have the following on our list:
Greif Inc (GEF), 30-Minute Chart
