Around The Horn: Extra Innings For December 8

On Friday December 5, 2008 we had four Around the Horn premium trades and four Stocks to Watch on our radar. Of these, four were profitable.

Enerplus (ERF) was a Fast Ball short Around the Horn premium trade for Friday’s trading. ERF hit our entry level in the morning on a pullback from a gap down open. ERF traded lower quickly down to the profit target and beyond. Exit was either at the profit target or below.

Noble Energy Inc (NBL) was a Fast Ball short Around the Horn premium trade for Friday’s trading. NBL was a quick and slippery one off the open and was spread nearly to the initial profit target in those opening bars, hitting that level in the first 15 minutes or so. Exit was at or below the target.

St Jude Med Inc (STJ) was a Switch Hitter short Around the Horn premium trade for Friday’s trading. STJ hit our entry level in the morning on a pullback from a gap down open. ERF traded lower quickly down to the profit target and just below S2 before pulling back to that level. Exit was either at the profit target or below.

Alliance Bernstein Holding (AB) was an Infield Fly short Stocks to Watch for Friday’s trading. AB had a pivot play shortly into the session from S1 to S2.
