Around The Horn: Extra Innings For December 11

On Wednesday December 10, 2008, we had four Around the Horn premium trades, two Extra Innings and three Stocks to Watch on our radar. Of these, one was profitable and one was a loss with no-shows for the rest.

PPG Inc (PPG) was a Double Header short Around the Horn premium trade for Tuesday’s trading. BWA hit our entry late in the day but stopped us out at breakeven after bouncing back to that level from the 50% to target. Second entry took us directly to our stop.

FTI Consulting Inc (FCN) was a Fast Ball short Stocks to Watch trade for Tuesday’s trading. FTI hit the suggested entry price from Monday nights Stocks to Watch article soon after the open and traded quickly down to an early session consolidation. Trailing stops kept this trade alive, with a possible exit at the S2 pivot level or end of day.
