On Monday December 22, 2008 we had one Around the Horn premium trade, three Stocks to Watch and one Extra Inning on our radar. Of these, one was a loss and the remaining were no-shows or scratch trades.

Goldcorp Inc (GG) was a Switch Hitter long Around the Horn premium trade for Monday’s trading. GG gapped open and pulled back to 10 cents above our entry. If you were fast or had programmed your trade, it may have been possible to catch this and ride it to the profit target. More likely is that the only trade you caught was on the pullback to the entry level off of a bounce on the Central pivot. This looked good, but it wasn’t in the works. Exit was at the stop loss.
