Thursday, January 8, 2009, we had one Around the Horn premium trades, two Extra Innings and four Stocks to Watch trades on our radar. Of these, one had profit opportunities and the rest were no-shows, leaving us with some Extra Innings for tomorrow’s trading.

Lincoln National Corp (LNC) was a Double Header short Stocks to Watch trade for Wednesday. LNC opened and traded higher to just above Wednesday’s close only to hit resistance. Closer to mid-session LNC again traded up to, and was turned away from, the same resistance level. This was an opportunity with a fairly tight stop and a trade that was viable until the S1 pivot or the close.
