Google Inc. (Nasdaq: GOOG) has an interesting 5 day chart. GOOG formed a flag & pennant formation before beginning a nice trend to the upside. The stock remained consistent with the trend until the end of yesterdays session. At approximately 3:20 p.m., GOOG broke through the up trend line on decent volume.

Mcgraw-hill Companies (Ticker: MHP)has been up trending very nicely. It is currently just off the up trend line, but looks to have nice potential on a pull back to the line. The stock will likely show resistance at 59.50, 52 week high, but should continue to move to the upside if it's able to push past.

Minefinders Ltd. (Ticker: MFN) explores and develops precious and base metal properties. With commodity prices for metals skyrocketing, this may be one to take a closer look at for stock trading purposes. The stock was very strong before pulling back after a sizable move to the upside. It then bounced off support at 7.50, and made what appeared to be a double top (highlighted in yellow). After successfully breaking the baseline of the supposed double top, it appeared to be retracing to the baseline...a typical move in double top formations. Today, it gapped up through the baseline and continued higher, closing just off the highs of the day.
