Around the Horn: Nightly Review

On Friday, the end of a choppy week, we had four Stocks to Watch and two Extra Innings on our radar. Of these, two hit for profits, two hit for scratches and two were no-shows.

Brookfield Properties (BPO) was a Double Header short setup from Thursday night’s Stocks to Watch column. There was an intraday pattern entry after a pullback on the open and a consolidation under the Central Pivot on the cross below the 8 & 20 simple moving averages. The conservative entry from the daily chart was 10 cents below Thursday’s low. Exit was toward end of day when BPO unsuccessfully tried to pierce through S2 the second time.

Sierra Health Services (SIE) was an Extra Inning setup from Thursday night’s Nightly Wrap column. There was an intraday pattern entry after a long morning consolidation under the Central Pivot. The conservative entry from the daily chart was 10 cents below the daily consolidation low and S1 level. Exit was end of day.
