Around the Horn: Nightly Review
On Friday, March 30, we had three Stocks to Watch and three Around the Horn subscription trades on our radar. Of these, one provided opportunity for profits, one was a small loss, one was a scratch, and three were no-shows, with two of these gapping past the entry.
Barr-Laboratories (BRL) was aFastball long for Friday’s Around the Horn subscription service. BRL triggered our entry level but failed to hit the 50% to Target level (where we pull our stop to breakeven), finding support on the S1 pivot level. Exit was a small loss end of day.
Loews CP Carolina Group (CP) was a Sinker short entry for Friday’s Around the Horn subscription service. CP opened below our trigger price and thus our only option to profit from this one today was an intraday pivot play. Entry was on a fall below the Central Pivot and exit was on the failure to break S1 and the reversal bounce, crossing the 8 period simple moving average.
