Around the Horn: Nightly Review

Wednesday we had four Stocks to Watch, two Extra Innings and six Around the Horn subscription trades on our radar. Of these, three hit for profits, two were scratches and seven were no-shows.

Avon Products (AVP) was a Line Drive long setup for Wednesday’s Around the Horn subscription service. AVP hit our entry in the morning and struggled with the R1 pivot level, finally gaining ground only to consolidate for much of the day. Exit was end of day on a breakdown from the consolidation.

FPL Group (FPL) was an Infield Fly short setup for Wednesday’s Around the Horn subscription service. FPL opened flat, pinned for the most part under the central pivot for much of the morning. Midday FPL traded down to our entry level at the S1 pivot and continued down to the profit target. Exit was at or just under the profit target.

Tiffany & Co (TIF) was a Sinker short setup for Wednesday’s Around the Horn subscription service. TIF tagged the trigger price of Tuesday’s high before hitting our entry level, traveled 50% to the profit target then reversed and stopped us out at breakeven. Second entry came within 10 cents of our profit target, so we moved the profit stop up to 50% to target, and the exit.
