Around the Horn: Extra Innings for May 25

On Thursday, May 24, 2007, we had fiveStocks to Watch, three Extra Innings and fourAround the Horn subscription trades on our radar. Of these, six hit for profits and six were no-shows.

Oneok Inc (OKE) was an Infield Fly short for Thursday’s Around the Horn subscription setups. OKE opened and after a brief time on support, traded down through our entry level. The profit target was achieved mid-day, with an exit here.

Lockheed Martin (LMT) was an Extra Inning from Wednesday night’s column. LMT opened and quickly hit our entry level, trading strongly in our favor. Exit was over a point later, at the cross of the 8-period simple moving average

W-H Energy Services (WHQ) was an Extra Inning from Wednesday night’s column. WHQ hit the entry late morning. For those who caught this shooting star, it was a smooth ride until end of day.

Kilroy Realty (KRC) was a Double Header short from Wednesday night’s Stocks to Watch column. KRC dropped below our entry mid-morning of 10 cents below Tuesday’s low. Exit was end of day on the reversal of two closes through the 8-period simple moving average.

Apartment Investment & Management (AIV) was a Switch Hitter short from Wednesday night’s Stocks to Watch column. AIV opened, hit our entry and traded down to end of day, with an exit on the cross through the 8-period simple moving average.
