Around the Horn: Extra Innings for May 31

On Wednesday, May 30, 2007, we had three Stocks to Watch, two Extra Innings and one Around the Horn subscription trade on our radar. Of these, one hit for profits, one was a loss, two were scratches to the upside and two were no-shows.

Cemex (CX) was a Line Drive long setup from Tuesday night’s Stocks to Watch column. CX opened below yesterday’s close and traded up to the entry level mid-morning and never looked back. Exit was either partial or fully at the pullback mid-afternoon, and/or end of day.

Manpower Inc (MAN) was an Double Header short for Wednesday’s Around the Horn subscription setups. MAN opened below our price and traded up and far past the entry level. MAN traded back down and tagged the entry level, never trading more than 10 cents in our direction before hitting the 50% to stop loss level, so exit was at this level.
