Around the Horn: Extra Innings for June 27

Tuesday we had three Stocks to Watch and four Around the Horn subscription service trades on our radar. Of these, four hit for profits, one was a no-show and two were scratches.

Ryland Group (RYL) was a Fastball short setup for Tuesday’s Around the Horn subscription service. RYL hit our short entry level off of the opening bars, only to reverse to the previous day’s closing levels. RYL did stay below our stop loss level, however, and hovered at the entry level much of the day. Exit was end of day.

Trinity Industries (TRN) was a Fastball short setup for Tuesday’s Around the Horn subscription service. TRN hit our short entry level off of the open and hit our profit target and beyond within the first two five minute bars. TRN consolidated on the S2 support level for much of the day. An intraday entry presented itself mid-afternoon on the breakdown of this consolidation. Exit for this entry was end of day.

AMB Property (AMB) was a Fastball short setup from Monday night’s Stocks to Watch column. AMB hit the entry level mid-morning and traded down to the S1 pivot level. Exit was on the break back up through S1 on the failure to trade lower.

Lennar Corp (LEN) was a Fastball short setup from Monday night’s Stocks to Watch column. LEN hit the entry quickly off the open, then again mid-morning and traded slowly down, with consolidations until end of day.
