Tuesday we had four Stocks to Watch, two extra innings and one Around the Horn subscription service trade on our radar. Of these, two hit for profits and five were no-shows.

Eaton Corp (ETN) was a Sinker short setup for Tuesday’s Around the Horn subscription service. It did not test yesterday’s highs, and therefore did not qualify under our Sinker entry criteria, but alert subscribers may have traded this one as an intraday play from below the central pivot, with an exit end of day.

HCC Insurance Holdings (HCC) was a Fastball Short setup for Tuesday’s Stocks to Watch column. HCC hit the entry level off the open and traded at this level for much of the day. Late in the day HCC legged lower and exit was end of day.

Kansas City Southern (KSU) was a Switch Hitter Short setup for Tuesday’s Stocks to Watch column. KSU hit the entry off the open and traded between S1 & S2 for most of the morning before trading lower. Exit was end of day.
