Tuesday we had three Stocks to Watch, three extra innings and one Around the Horn subscription service trade on our radar. Of these, three hit for profits, two were no-shows and two were scratch trades.

Foundation Coal Holdings Inc (FCL) was a Fastball short setup for Tuesday’s Stocks to Watch column. FCL bobbled between our entry level and its opening level much of the morning. Depending on a trader’s risk tolerance, early entry could have resulted in a scratch, but the afternoon decline was worth the trouble. FCL traded down steadily, with some resistance at S1, to S2 before exhausting itself. Exit end of day on the bounce back up from S2.

Bunge Ltd (BG) was an Extra Inning long setup for Tuesday’s Extra Innings column. I have been watching BG for several days and today BG made the move. Entry was off of the open and was a one-point quick ride to the crest. Exit was on the decline of this steep move.

International Game Technology (IGT) was an Extra Inning short setup for Tuesday’s Extra Innings column. Entry was mid-morning. After trading down through S1 and S2, exit was on the cross of the 8 period simple moving average.
