Around the Horn: Extra Innings for September 6

Wednesday we had three Stocks to Watch and three Around the Horn subscription trades on our radar. Of these, two hit for profits and the rest were no-shows.

Kilroy Realty Corp (KRC) was a Swith Hitter short for Wednesday’s Around the Horn subscription service trade list. Entry was in the morning and it looked good for a trip to the profit target. Until it stalled below the 50% to target level, that is. KRC spent some time bobbling around this level, coming to within 10 cents to the initial profit target. When KRC came back up to the 50% to target level we took the profit stop we set when it comes within 10 cents to profit target.

Edo Corp (EDO) was a Sinker short for Wednesday’s Stocks to Watch list. EDO ran as a beautiful Sinker set up. EDO opened above yesterday’s highs and climbed higher before deflating back down to the entry level at yesterday’s highs. EDO traded lower for most of the afternoon, with an exit on the cross of the 8 period simple moving average off of lows end of day.
