The market ended mixed today, but there was a very nasty afternoon that gave back all of the morning's rally and then some on Nasdaq and most of it on the Dow and S&P.
The indices managed to eke out another gain today, but it was a very tedious day with the indices opening sharply lower, holding right there and then firming up the rest of the morning.
The indices had another up-day today, but it was a difficult afternoon, although they did come back near the close to recapture back some of the gains.
