The stock market indices edged higher today, but ended mixed with the Nasdaq 100 and Dow making new rally highs. The S&P 500 and the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index (SOXX) trailed.
The stock market indices ended mixed today, but started out very differently. They gapped lower, snapped back, couldn’t get through Friday’s late highs, and then rolled over in a sharp 3-wave decline, reaching the session lows by mid-morning.
