The stock market indices had a difficult start to the morning, but once again held support and came back in a 5-wave rally to close at the highs for the day going away.

The market had an extremely strong session on Thursday, and the rally rolls on.

The indices ended mixed on the session.  After a strong morning, they backed off in the afternoon in a 3 wave decline, but firmed in the last 10-15 minutes to take back some of the afternoon pullback losses.

The markets refused to die and despite the morning sell-off and mid-day break of initial support, the indices failed to follow-through to the downside, holding secondary support.

The indices started the week in strong fashion. Although they were very choppy during the day, they did hold support for most of the session, and then came on again in the last hour, closing at the highs for the day going away, which are also the highs for this entire rally.

Thursday’s session was a terrific follow-up to yesterday’s very strong session.

It was a monster day for stocks as the indices gapped up strongly, ran hard in the morning, consolidated mid-day and then ran again in the afternoon, basically stair-stepping higher all day and closing at the highs for the day going away.

The indices had a very strong rally today after a very weak opening and an early sharp drop. They turned around on a dime, with financials leading the way.

The stock market indices had a mixed performance at the close today, but not without some volatility, especially in the morning.

The indices had a very nominal gaining session today at the end of the day, because of a late sell-off.
