Down Note In Stock Market To Start The Week
The market started the week off with a down note. They were lower from the get-go and then had a rather sharp sell-off, particularly on the Nasdaq 100 that took it from over 1200 down to the 1170 area.

Afternoon Sell-Off In Stock Market
The markets had a solid morning and reached the 4-day declining tops lines by late morning, stalled there and consolidated bullishly. But, after 3 or 4 failed attempts at breaking out they rolled over, broke short-term support, and then took out important secondary support and had a very sharp sell-off late in the day. The market bounced around in the last half hour, but for the most part closed near the lows for the day.

The markets had three distinct parts of the session. They were up in the morning, down mid-day and back up late in the session to close with gains for the day. Modest gains, but gains nevertheless.

Turnaround Tuesday In Stock Market
Despite the fact the futures were lower and the markets opened down sharply, they held support and rallied very sharply back, taking the Nasdaq 100 up to 1251 and change, a new multi-week rally high.

Short-Term Support And Trend Lines Broken In Stock Market
The indices had what appeared to be a constructive morning, as they moved back and forth in a fairly narrow and orderly manner, getting several swings that were unable to break out or down, until the afternoon when they ultimately rolled over hard.
