Harry Boxer has more than 30 years of Wall Street investment and technical analysis experience, and he spent eight years on Wall Street as chief technical analyst with three brokerage firms. Mr. Boxer is a technical consultant to many Wall Street hedge funds and large institutional traders. Mr. Boxer is currently author of "The Technical Trader" and "The Technical Trading Diary" on the financial website The Technical Trader. No Trend Break, Though Market Mostly Lower
he markets had a down day for the most part, other than the Nasdaq 100, but it sure felt a lot better than that, because many of the stocks we follow had a strong session, particularly in the Chinese sector, which mostly had an exceptional day today.

Nasdaq Leads Mixed Session
The markets had a strange and mixed session, the kind of session where the Nasdaq 100 was pretty much positive and strong all session and closed at the highs for the day going away, but the S&P 500 and Dow were negative all morning and flat all afternoon, and refused to go along with the Nasdaq 100, particularly the afternoon part of the rally.
