Japan seems to be on a path to more rather than less expansionary policy of both the fiscal and the monetary variety.

The general weakness in the British pound is understandable. Not only has the economy struggled to ensure an exit from its recession and monetary policy slackened to the point where further expansion will do little good.

Despite the improvement in the economy the Swiss National Bank is expected to keep their target rate at 0.25% as they continue to have deflation concerns.

Does gold do anything but rise? It goes up when the news is bad. It goes up when the news is good. When doesn’t it go up?

What was lost to the first world's two leading economies was found by another part of the world that used to be known as the second or third world.  India, China, Russia and Brazil have all grown by leaps and bounds.

If an investor cannot trust the ruling family of Dubai, how can he trust the commies who run China? Or the hacks who run the United States of America?

While we in the US spent our Thursday eating turkey and watching football, the rest of the world's markets went into a downward spiral as Dubai announced it wanted its lenders to give the country a six-month moratorium on some $80-90 billion in debt.
